I confess I've done this before, perhaps several times too many. I've made a blog post for a little while and then forget about it, letting it collect digital internet dust. At least, the last one was kept up just a teeeensy tiny bit better than its predecessors. But, that has been dropped a few months in and here we are again. Will anything change? Will this blog too be abandoned? Will it also become another tomb marker for all my attempts at starting in this field? Who knows. Let's not think about what the future holds. Now out of college and having a significant amount of free time on my hands, I thought this page would be a perfect manifestation of my life from what entertains me, my personal experiences and thoughts, and whatever else perks my interest. While the content of this blog might be slightly different from what I've set up before in its range of topics that I would like to cover, it will nonetheless continue to be a reflection of myself as a growing and developing individual interacting with what the world has to offer. With a four year background degree in pulling out all nighters to punch out a 10 page research paper ranging from Russian history to a 14 page feminist interpretation of the missing mother trope in anime and animation (you know the classic disney princess trait), expect posts to range from incoherent mashing of words that round up into one word sentiments to full-blown essays because you can't have a girl write those for four years and just drop it later in college, you know? As best as I will be informative, I will also strive to be as engaging and entertaining--sans cat gifs.
